<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have also been told by a Gibson dealer that better quality guitars (of the same make and model) go to preferred dealers. In other words, two custom shop guitars are built. One is perfect and the other has "allowances." The perfect axe goes to the preferred dealer and the one with a slight blemish, uneven binding, unfinished whatever the fuck, goes to Musician's Friend or a similar type store.
