Honestly, I love my Les Paul Custom , and if I have my way with it, it will be buried with me
But...I wouldn't pay that much for another Les Paul again ever. They are great guitars, but I think they are overpriced for what they are.
I've had mine since Christmas of 1980, and my parents paid a lot for it then. It is on its 4th refret, now has EMG's in it, different tuners (changed out to Grovers to replace the Kluson POS originals).
Just get an Epiphone Les Paul Custom... they make them in black, white or wine red. I think I want one eventually. Fuck paying the ridiculous price for the real Gibson.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
After playing a les paul for many years, the epiphone is a joke in comparison. Many of you say you don't like ESPs because they have no personality and feel cheap. Same thing with the epiphones. If you want a Les Paul cusom, there is always a deal to be found on a used one.
BTW.. Burny, Orville & Tokai all makes Les Paul Knockoffs that carry the spirit of the les paul better than the epiphone, and don't have that horrible headstock.
