Just wondering what the times have been for GMW's with a reasonably advanced graphic that Dan needed to do? I'm sure Lee does the simple stuff and can get a guitar out the door in a quite reasonable time from what I have seen before. Mine would have been with me a long time ago if I just wanted it a plain colour, but waiting on Dan's availability is apparently slowing it up big time.

As of today, I'm still waiting for The Call... , so I don't know what to tell ya. I know that last time I was out at GMW to check my graphic, Dan was really busy with several guitars for Fender, Jackson, Anderson and GMW's own orders. I have a feeling, tho, that all of the delays you might encounter are all not due to Dan's workload...but you didn't hear that for me...

Re: How long did your GMW w/ Graphic take?
I sent a Soloist down for a Rising Sun Graphic to be matched from a picture of the guitar back before it was stripped. I sent the guitar June 6th 2003 and was told it would be 3 months. I called in November to see how it was going and Lee told me it wasn't even touched yet and that he would get it in to Dan ASAP. I still haven't heard anything.

Re: How long did your GMW w/ Graphic take?
well mine took 2 months, see it in the general jackson thread, the redrum guitar, lee says it all depends on body and neck availability, if he has them in stock or if he has to make them and the big wait like you all said is dan, if it is an easy job he can have it done quickif not well the wait is on, i had a single hum soloist re-fined in amir derak fighter plane graphic and it took 9 months and most of the job was paint.......but they are well worth the wait, top notch

How much do you think it would be for the body and back of neck to be done in just basic Black from GMW? Anyone else do guitars on here? Mine would be a re-finish from ugly ass yellowed off white to Black. Thanks-Jack.

I too would rather wait for quality and I ordered a graphiced GMW because of their reputation for excellence. I was very suprised at how quickly the redruM guitar was done, I wonder if Dan did the graphic?
Mine was a total custom order for the body and neck as he didn't have them in stock but they have been ready for a while apparently. It's good to hear they aren't taking on any more work, those guys are swamped.
Mine was ordered in September 2002 now, phew, quite a while when you think about it. I know it will kick major ass when I get it.
Thanx guys.
