I'm not sure if all GC are running the same sales events nationally, altho, it would make sense as the usually they do mailings for their events. I asked at the end of December if they were running an inventory blowout in January as they usually do... the guy didn't know. (He's worked there for a long time, at least 5 years)

If anyone who lives in the TC area of Minnesota went to one, I'd like to know as it seems I ned to get back on the mailing list.

So I guess I blew it this year, but Memorial Day is around the corner.

I didn't see any really great sales at the nearest GC here in Northern Virginia, but maybe I missed going there that particular weekend. Oftentimes, a "great sale price" at GC seems to be the normal going rate for a piece of gear, as opposed to GC's usual overly high price... [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
