  • Where's Peavey V-type Exp NTB?

Well alot of people are talking about them and I want one, I live in England and I can't find any on the internet, does anyone have any clue.

Also FYI I'm talking about the white one with the trem not the normal coloured ones.

I think you can order them directly from Peavey....could be wrong though.

There's a really cool metallic orange USA model on the 'bay right now for less than the MSRP on the Korean one.

Using peaveys 'shop on line' from their website, it listed a couple places local to me. It shows Samash as an option (I'm sure they'd ship overseas):

West LA Music in Southern California does a lot of worldwide shipping, you might try them:

Also the dealer I bought mine from (Cassell's music) (at the Sam ash price) might ship overseas.

I've got the purple one too. I think you'll love it. It's great. They do seem to be kind of hard to find. I like the black one the best, but I couldn't find a black one.

Re: Where\'s Peavey V-type Exp NTB?

I played a White w/ gold hardware Peavey V-Type NTB tonight and was just blown away! It may be a Korean take on the old Vandenburg design, but it was much, much better built than any of the three "original" Vandy's I've played... It was beautiful in pearl white with abalone inlay all around the body, neck and reverse headstock. The trem was a solid Peavey-licensed Floyd, no doubt Asian-sourced but it seemed solid - way better quality than the junk floyds I'm used to seeing on Korean guitars (including Korean-made Jacksons)... Great neck, with a 24.5" scale, 1 5/8" nut, substantial "D" shape and jumbo frets, it really, really felt good... It took all kinds of will power to walk away and leave this thing hanging in the store; one of the deciding factors is that it's a whole lot more money than I've ever paid for a Korean guitar before (hell, it's more expensive than the last US-made guitar I bought!), but it was just immaculately built. Stunning! I might just have to break down and go see it again tomorrow...

As an aside to any of you who own or play any Peavey EXP with a floyd, what do you think of the trem? This one played beautifully, but that doesn't mean it will last... are these things quality hardware, or do they need to be replaced in 6 months because the blades are worn and the posts are grooved?

You might want to check out Musik produktiv. There are some V-types listed in their site.

I find it hard to believe you can't get Peavey products in England.
Even here in crappy ol' Belgium you can get everything from their range with minimal waiting.
Try www.peavey.co.uk and the dealer finder.
