not a jackson, but curious.. i can get it for 100 bucks..


strat body, desert crackle finish, 3 knob, a floyd copy, H/S/S

squier neck, with squier by fender lettering on HS

..ANY ideas? the storeowner and I are baffled, and for 100 bucks, it could be a nice parts guitar..

A bastard or a Stagemaster..altho I think Stagemaster's has that decal on the headstock and 1 vol, 1 tone. Probably a put together.

I have seen actual squiers with crackle type finishes, but they had an "Ibanez" type headstock rather than a strat type, and I believe they were neckthru. If it plays good and sounds good, go for it!

sounds like an HM squier (I had one in blue)
nice little guitar. the licensed floyd was not of the best around, but if you like thin necks it is a nice beater guitar (especially for the money)
