Ron, are you a member over there ?? I don't remember seeing you posting there Would be awesome to have you as a member there if you are not. Currently no one to police spelling and grammar

Several JCF members are also members there so it's kinda like a second home

That sounds like a Marty Friedman style complaint, he seems to think the reason he changed to Ibanez was due to the difficulty in getting a thick tone from a Jackson.

I have played the DVD8 LTD version, and he is definitely right about the size of the thing. Its a monster.

Both of my V's sound thin. It's damn near impossible to get a doom type sound out of either of them. They're great for thrash though.

He's got a helluva collection. The white custom shop ESP is pretty damned badass. But the cracked mirror KV is just bad to the fucking bone!

Oh, "Morphine" is SYL from the ESP boards...He's currently having $25,000 worth of Explorers being built by Ken Lawrence.

Back to the topic, I'd like to try a DV8, they seem nice.

The "thin" that people might be refering to is the fact Jacksons are geared around the midrange tones where leads will sound and cut through better. Not the low end where people can hide behind a wall of low end noise and just bash the shit out of a cord.

That's what Bass Players are for.
