• suggestions for my birthday wishlist

I'm getting ready to start compiling my wishlist for my birthday in July. The wife said I could have a guitar then, so I'm looking for suggestions. I figure somewhere in the $500-$800 range. Here's what I'm thinking so far:
Hamer Studio or Special FM
Peavey USA Wolfgang hardtail
Rhoads Pro (early 90's neck through)
I prefer H/H, fixed bridge set-ups (at least for the time being)
Other suggestions?

I'd go for the wolfgang or the RR pro.

I own a killer Hamer Special FM, so I'll have to say get one of those! The JB/'59 combo got ripped out and replaced with the chrome EMG 81 set, though.

I remember that from one of your previous posts. As nice as the stock Duncans are ,I would probably have to replace them with something hotter as well. Remember, if you ever want to sell your Hamer, let me know.

I'm also thinking about a Gibson V as well. I played a faded V the other day that was surprisingly nice. The finish felt really good and the tone was better than expected. I've just heard some bad things about the cheaper electronics. But, that would be easy to upgrade.

I've got no plans to sell, but If I ever decide to, I'll let you know. It won't be cheap, as the 25th anniversary pups ran me almost $250!

I wouldn't mind letting you keep the pickups. I could find something else to throw in there. Look into my eys. Sell it to me. Sell it to me.
