Congrats man , i wouldnt of minded having that one myself. Didnt neal say thats one of the pointless seagulls ? I believe they went seagull , pointless seagull , seagull 2 , and then it changed over to the eagle.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Most BC collectors call them the Second generation Seagull or Seagull 2. That shape didn't evolve into the Eagle. The Eagle was designed around the same time the Seagull was. Neal tweaked Bernie's original shape of the Seagull into the Eagle. So the Eagle is actually a "double cut" variation of a Seagull...(figuratively)

the seagull2 is the double cutaway seagull. Its probably the RAREST of them all & is pretty much an evolution. it has a small horn cutaway, much smaller than eagles almost mockingbird like just scooping the upper bout of the existing shape. the pointless seagull a transitional shape(shortlived) & was never actually named. BTW those old Guild pickups ROCK, they are actually higher output than my ST-3 neckthru with an X2N. think the st has a bad pot or something, it sounds great just surprising that vintage pickups were so loud?
