• Check Out The New Carvin

No official specs until the new catalog.

Looks like a new 3+3 straight-string headstock and an arched top. Kinds looks PRSy to me ... in a good way.

Yeah, that looks really cool. 24 frets and a Floyd and I'd be in trouble.

That reissue DC150 they have now is ruined by the 22 frets and rounded body IMO. The REAL DC150 was a 24-fret Melody
Maker without the fugly big pickguard that Melody Makers have, which is why I love those guitars.

If this one will only be available with 22 frets, I won't be tempted in the least.

That is pretty damn nice. I dig the creame pickups.

        That's REAL nice!
Hopefully, being a Carvin, it'll be affordable too!

That is simply gorgeous. I have to wonder why they never make any necks with binding though. That would set A LOT of their guitars off.

That's nice. I'd rather have that than a PRS.

                  Holy crap that's pretty!

I'm willing to set aside my fixation with super-strat and Flying V type guitars to get this one. But I need more frets!

binding options on neck and body would be nice...

I don't like where the pickup selector is. Nice headstock design though and I am sure it is very high quality like all Carvin products.

After Gibson finishes sueing PRS, PRS will turn around and sue Carvin.

About time they offered an arched/carved top. A lot of people on their board (including myself) have been asking for one for awhile. Carvin seems to really come through for their fans if they ask for something long enough. Though, also think it should have 24 frets.

It is a set neck, too. I really like the headstock. I hated their old 3x3 design.

I think their newer M Bridge string-thru is perfect for this model. A Wilky would also be nice, but I think I'd rather have the hard-tail.
