• Caparison Guitars

These guitars seem rare in the US. The only band I've seen using them is Killswitch Engage, but I am sure there are others.

Has anyone ever played one? If so can you give an opinion how they sound, neck specs, & build quality.

Caparison

I´ve tried a couple of Caparisons...the quality was great and the necks were pretty fat.

Re: Caparison Guitars

I was close to getting one off of Yahoo Japan last year, but I didn't get as much info as I needed to buy a guitar I've never played before. I'm not in the habit of dropping that kind of money on a guitar I've never even tried.

There's some on Yahoo Japan right now:

Andy La Rocque from King Diamond is also using Caparison. They're great guitars, I'd love one.

I'm definitly wanting to get one. Mattias Eklundh from Freak Kitchen uses em. I've like to check out his model. Its pretty much a Horus but with the Applehorn carved into the body.

Dont forget Nils from Nocturnal Rites!!
And actually both guitarists from Evergrey use em. No one here ever heard of Dennis Stratton either?

I want one of those Gackt signature models, the violin looking thing. But I'd settle for an Angelus if someone's giving them away.

Anyone tried to tune his guitar to low G? Evergrey did that, but I'm wondering what gauge of strings did they use.
G is fuckin' low for me.

Isn't Romeo currently using an ESP? Not that I care, just curious.
