Re: Caparison Guitars

Evergrey tuned to G as in:

G C F Bb D G -- HOLY **** and here I thought 7 Strings tuned a whole step down was a low tuning!

Anybody know what tuning Evergrey used on the new album? Sounds like D, C or D with a drop C to me.

G tuning =
G C C F A D
Picture if you inverted a C chord (1st fret) on a 7 string that was tuned a step down...

I don't know if the picks all have the same shape than the christopher amott sig, but they look very similar to Dunlop Jazz III.

Picks come only when you buy the guitar *I think*

I would love to get my hands on a DeeP Sea Horus.
Any body know about how much 170,000 Yen is in USD?
Any JCF members in Japan have an Idea as how 1 of us in the states could get 1 of these Horus guitars?
I tried the site RacerX (Ron) gave us but it didn't let me use the support , or shop link on there.

GRRR!!! How come I can't find any picks shaped like this anywhere?!?!?

Stupid Dunlops aren't that sharp and D'Andrea is even worse...

Dont forget Nils from Nocturnal Rites!!
And actually both guitarists from Evergrey use em. No one here ever heard of Dennis Stratton either?

So it's basically a Scandinavian thing, innit. I've yet to see the first one over here in Belgium.
Of course I know Dennis Stratton. What's he up to nowadays?
