I don't think I like it. It reminds me of a generic Jay Turser/Samick/Cort PRS style guitar. No doubt it's a much better made guitar, but it looks blah.

                Re: New Signature Series Peavey!!!

Maybe every guitar company will come out with a PRS guitar. They should even turn the name PRS into a model name so that Peavey and Carvin can call their rip-offs the Peavey PRS and the Carvin PRS. I hate guitar companies that follow trends so closely.

                      Re: New Signature Series Peavey!!!

It looks very blah, a lot of companies are doing the double cutaway thing and making it interesting like Dean's Hardtail and Vendetta models. Both of which appeal to me more because they have a personality all their own.

But it's a non issue since I play Soloist style guitars.

                        Re: New Signature Series Peavey!!!

Umm Ok maybe im missing something here. But why does Hartley Peavey have his own signature model?
Is he in a big name band now? Like the new version of Megadeth I can see it now. "Hartley Peavey Joins Megadeth. Former CEO and founder of Peavey musical instruments joins the ranks of MArty Freidman and Dave Mustaine. While MArty has left Megadeth to his own thing and Dave has been in recovery from an arm accident in 2002. Hartley Peavey shows interest in reforming Megadeth with no other members. Hartley will be playing all the instruments on the newest release of the recently illfaded Megadeth. While he makes instruments for every musician from drummer to bass player to guiatrist and even DJ. Hartley is said to be excited by this new venture into the music world.
While he wont be playing the Jackson of Freidman and Mustaine era he will be playing a Signature guitar none the less. His very own HP signature Peavey guitar. (looks alot like a Macinterf to me)
He is also quoted as saying he will be releasing his very own HP signature drum set and bass that looks a lot like Warwick Corvette but made out of basswood brought to popularity by their best selling guitar the Wolfgang. This is something this reporter would have night mares about. AHHHHHHHHHHH

I usually like Peavey but that to me looks like a Washburn BT-2.
