Any one have one?
I got one the other day and was quite suprised how well it played.I was jonesing for a neck thru guitar and the price was right.Mahogony neck and body very nice trans purple with a flame top.Black hardware /white binding. Not sure about the pickups EMG HZ S1 and HZB1(ceramic) way too brittle in a mahogony body IMO.Has anyone tried the HZB2 alnicos?
Really? well screw Mark Twain.

24 3/4 is perfect for me.Les Pauls, Jackson fusions etc rock. The 92 fusion I have is so comfortable to play. I play it hard every day.I guess Slayer(Jack) and I are two of few short scale lovers on the forum.

I dont think theres anything wrong with shortscale. The only time id rather have a longer scale is for serious drop tuning. That and i prefer a shortscale bass since im a guitarist most of the time.

Add me to the list of short-scale fans. When I finally get a Custom Shop, it's going to be 24.75" scale. I see no advantage to 25.5".

I've found that drop D tuning works well on model 2s but my short scale fusion I set up kind of "loose" you know a little less string tension at the floyd.Backed out the spring claw a little then used three very worn out short trem springs. The OFR is dead level and diving and pulling up is smooth. The sound is fat and creamy if that makes any sense.I use an OLD JB in the neck and an even older duncan distortion in the bridge. This guitar is so mellow and full of tone I don't think I'll ever sell it.I'm just glad I saved it from the hoards of parts hounds at Music-Go-Round.Best 200.00 I spent. I like shorter scale as well,I love my Charvette because of it,s slightly shorter scale....I find it nicer to play than 25.5 "

I really like short scale as well. My Hamer, Les Paul and Jackson JJP are all 24.75" scale. My Carvin is 25" and the rest of my guitars are 25.5". I've got no problem with going back and forth between any of them.

Short Scale fan here too!! either 9-42 or 9-46 strings. I always use 9-42s on 25.5 guitars. Jack.
