Thanks...There are some LP haters around here, I am definitely not one of them.

Only a Les Paul sounds like a Les Paul.

Beautiful! And that's a gorgeous flame top, much better than typical Gibson top.

beautiful axe, mate. I wonder how the Custom's quality will be affected since they moved their line from the normal factory to Custom Shop status.

That guitar is just great. I have no further comment on that.

I found LPs really nice to look, but for playing, they're disastrous when I put them on. I just cannot get along with so high fitted bridge, shape of the guitar and its height.

So how's with the custom order? For instance, I live outside USA, and if I wanted Jackson or Gibson or any other company to made a custom made piece, what should I do? Call directly into headquarters?

THe flame on that top is SICK! I love the real tight flame stripes as opposed to the wider flames you usually see. Now if only I had a few extra grand to drop on one.....

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. It is funny, among all the really nice guitars I own, this one calls out the most to be played.

This model is called the "1968 les paul figured top". It is a true custom shop model, so its really not the same as the custom they now make there.

                            Confusing enough?

Its got a big-ass neck, which feels real nice, at least to me, and I dont have very big hands.
