• Looking for maple fretboard...

Hi, I need your suggestions for my next G.A.S. attack.

Mainly I'm looking for a guitar with maple fretboard.

Others specs:

- humbucker in bridge position
- no weird shapes
- under 500$

I would like better string through or fixed bridge, anyway I can take also a decent trem.

what do you think?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have a Charvel USA w/Warmoth birdseye maple fingerboard listed in the classifieds for $399... it has a single coil sized dual blade humbucker in the bridge. : ) Neck also has stainless steel frets with zero wear, sperzel tuners, dimarzio singles and a duncan humbucker in the bridge. It's crazy nice for the $.

Try Carvin. You can order any of their guitars with maple, ebony or rosewood boards. Some models even have a choice of up to 5 different bridges; string-thru/TOM, stoptail/TOM, FT6 hardtail, Wilkinson, Floyd. They ship overseas, and you get 10 days to try it out once you get it.

I would agree. You can order the Carvin BOlt kit for under 400 IIRC. All you would have to do is slap it together (wouldn't take very long). They come unfinished, but you could throw a satin poly finish on it pretty quickly and it would be a slick axe. You can order the maple board and bridge HB as options for a few bucks more.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">If you want the body or neck finished, they'll also do that for you for a slight upcharge. I think it's $30 or $60, something like that.

hmm... I think I'll save money untill I can afford a warmoth soloist body and a Jackson style maple/maple neck.

Someone knows how is the feeling of a Warmoth Jackson neck VS the real Jackson necks?

How is Warmoth necks and bodyes quality?

Or that DK2LE deal on the Import Jackson board. The only thing that might be questionable for sfregias is the trem. But all the other specs are dead on.
