sounds great..not too hard on the back..Try one theyre pretty cheap right now

Sorry I missed out on the NY Fest... got called on an emergency Fri night, then had to be up at 4:30 am to be in at 5:30 again..... so I was in NO shape to take the drive up. [img]graemlins/sleep.gif[/img] at the wheel...

As another guy who seems to have caught the 7 string bug, I strongly suggest you grab one of these Washburns if one comes along. It's as good as any 7 string I've played - seriously.

I just got my 7 string. This guitar is excellent. Better than any ESP or Ibanez 7 strings that i've played. The pickups have alot of clarity. Floyd Rose stays in tune very well and the neck is great. An excellent buy for £165 [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

My 6-string is tuned down to B right now. It sounds great, I love it. I do, however, miss the high E string. A 7-string would easily fix that problem. But alas, I gots no money, so the detuned 6-string must do.

I hope you have a full lineup by then, too - you guys have more issues than us, which is saying something.

XFX were juse like they never left - still awesome players, and a great live band.

i saw a used ibanez rg7321 for $229.
are these guitars decent and is that a good price?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You'd only be saving $100-150 off of a new RG7321. Those are the cheaper Korean models. They're probably not too bad for a beginner or for someone who is really on a tight budget. You can get a used RG7620 for $300-350 all day. Those are much, much better. By the time you upgraded the pickups on the 7321 (which would be very much advised) you could get the 7620. And you'd have better harware to boot.

I'd agree with Travis' assessment - if you're going to go Ibenhad, the RG762x series is a much better use of your cash. If you're looking to go cheap and change pickups, I'd say a Schecter C7 would be a good choice - they're going for stupid cheap used.

I have an Ibanez Universe. 2000 model. I used to have an Ibanez RG 7421 and RG 7620 but sold them.

i just picked up an original ibanez universe (black and green)...somebody stuck an emg 707 in it...it's still cool tho...d.m.
