I bet you've never seen a Tele like this

This is a project for my youngest son. He really wants an electric guitar. I gave him a mini Rogue Tele style guitar. There's just one problem - he's a southpaw. So I was talking to Tommy at USA Custom guitars and he suggested a Tele body that is reduced in size 15% but still takes normal hardware and stuff. I picked it up today and it looks great. This is the only one of it's kind that I know of.

Some screwball custom ordered one about a year and a half ago (and yeah, he paid the CNC setup fee too!!!)and Tommy was heckling him, and I said "sounds killer, make me one now...." So he laughed, but still did one in mahogany for me...Sheeeeit, I never finished it - it was way too small for me...I sold the body to yet another screwball in Texas who emailed and said it's the best guitar he's ever owned [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

So, yeah - your kid is the proud owner of Lefty #1 [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

It's really great that you are teaching your son about music and also getting him set up with a better guitar. With all of the time wasters in our current society, I'm really heartened to hear about kids being interested in music and not just the latest PS/2 games. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
