    I think the SE's are one of the best bang-for-the-buck deals in the market today. I know Paul himself really agonized about Korean production. PRS had actually just about gone to Korea for a production guitar in the early/mid '90's but backed out at the last minute due to concerns over tarnishing PRS's reputation for their US-made instruments. I think the SE's exist because they live up to PRS's standards (and because Carlos Santana asked Paul to come up with an inexpensive guitar.)
    Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.

      Hey Jon,
      The Tremonti SE I tried was extremely light, almost too light IMO.
      I would compare it to an Ibanez S series (Sabre) guitar.
