Yeahh there cool guitars,i have an early USA light blue with a cool looking beat up maple neck.I must admit the pickups are not that musical.lol..there the stock pups and the distortion bridge one is rather brittle sounding..Greg Howe had custom
pickups made for his,but he also just stuck duncan JB's in a few..I have a JB in my other strat and it sounds sweet..when i get around to it i will hotrod the HM with some musical pickups

Mine has a stock Super 3 in the bridge and it sounds great-very crunchy and high output. THey are the same pups that come in the Jackson PC models. THe two singles were standard Japanese single coils with a reverse wound in the middle to get hum cancelling int he 4th position. I replaced the neck model with a Carvin twin blade just to get a better rythm sound, but the regular single sounded much better clean.

I bought one after reading greg howe uses them, mine was a USA black H/S/S with a maple board that was very similar to the old USA san dimas charvels.
it was very wide and fast.
i took out the super 3 which i thought was pure mud and put in a duncan demon.
unfortunatly i wound up trading it i miss it.
BTW, these all had basswood bodies which i prefer alder.
