The strathead, GMW does use it but wayne does not?

why is it that lee can use the strathead shape and wayne does not?
the new wayne head(old one was better) is a real turn off for me no matter how great the guitar is [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]

Does GMW build their own necks, or do they get them from another manufacturer? Certain manufacturers (like mighty mite, and stew-mac) are authorized to produce strat replacement necks. GMW may also be licensed for this. Or else, their production numbers are so limited that Fender does not see it as any type of threat to their trademark. I am not super familiar with GMW, so I cannot say for sure. Someone here probably has the phone number, why don't you just get it and call them?

GMW is a "custom shop" if GMW logo'd all of them & starting making "production" guitars in quantity they couldnt use stratheads.
