I don't own an Epiphone but after reading all of that, I have absolutely no clue what to believe.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You guys realize that all the photos that were posted as the "counterfit" epi are gone!!

I won't be surprise that more of the cardboard Epi be found in the future. If we are lucky, we might see some Gibson in action. and it'd be "goodbye" Gibson.

And the idea of seeing all those bloody Gibson snobs' faces just put a BIG smile on me

Ummmm, no..........There will never be a discovery that Gibsons are like this. Gibson Les Pauls are real guitars, while the copies are just copies............

Well the odds are much higher that you'd find that kind of stuff in a Jackson than you would in a Gibson.........

I have been messing around with the electronics in my EPi LP for the past few weeks, and as far as I can tell from the pup routes and inside the electronics cavity, everything is real wood. Is it possible the newer chinese made ones are made with inferior materials? I made sure mine was Korean....and it is really well made.

Gibson /Epiphone takes the time to access this matter:
