<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I got a 1990 Greco Les Paul and it's sweet. Gibson's are over priced except for their faded stuff.

Greco, Tokai, Orville, and Burny are great guitars. You know, Japanese need their own guitars also, they don't rely on American Stuff.

Re: Yet another LP question

I've owned (and own) a number of Studios, and each one of them was head & shoulders ABOVE the build and play quality of a 2000 LP Classic I bought NEW.

I don't know why Studios get a bad rap - they are just dressed-down Standards. Get a white one - you'll love it! Go for the early to mid 90's as well. Better quality at that time.

Cool, thanks for all the info. I found a faded on ebay for less than 600. I'm gonna look into the studio.

I have 2 Orvilles...licensed Gibby's.
They are excellent players, and I got them both for the price of one good Gibson.

I have a special (not faded). It is a great guitar 4 the money. Once I got it set up.

For the price, I agree.Used Les Paul Special are good guitars.
Also used Gothic Les Paul.I love the way it looks.
I hada Gothic V and played and sounded killer.
If not Gibson, there are many to choose from.
I found this pic of a Les Paul(Gibson) from Les Paul forum, NICE!
