Sweet guitar indeed, at a great price! But if it's a '96, how come your website says it's a 2001?

I just want a home...
Here is this poor Guitar's story.
I purchased this guitar 96 Les Paul Studio for around 2-3 years ago and almost kept it for myself.
The first owner put someone put $50 down on it 2 years ago. Never made another payment so it was back for sale about 8 months after the deposit was put down.
A few months later another kid (2nd owner) put $50 down on it and made payments for a while and had $300 of it paid off then disappeared for 6 months so back for sale it went. (He later came back with a sob story and I refunded 1/2 the money he put down on it)
The 3rd owner was a regular customer of mine who did some trading for it a few months ago, kept it a week, then traded it back. Jacksons are all this guy wants. Hey, can't knock that.
The 4th owner bid and won it off ebay June 13th then refused to pay a couple hours after the auction ended. Negative feedback will be left for this lovely person.
The 5th owner won it last night off ebay after I relisted it and has already paid through PayPal so it looks like the guitar finally has a home.
