• Hookay, this is what I want!

    Ebay example

Anybody know if this is street price? Any Hamer guys know of any used ones out there? I can't afford this much, but I really dig this guitar...

I played a base Studio a couple of weeks ago that I fell in love with. It is basically the same guitar without the binding and Victory inlays. The store said they're sale price was $1900 and change but they said they would beat anyone else's price. With that said, I would think that $2200 is pretty close. You could probably find one for a little less. Ask Jack (slayer). He's the resident Hamer expert around here.

Thanks for the info though. I'll keep a look out for one now that I know I can swing a used one.

Yeah, those things are amazing. I have a feeling I'll be picking one up in the future. Personally, I prefer the crown inlays to the Victory. But dots won't disappoint me either.

I have a goldtop studio, with a couple of scratches, just setup, I would let go for $600.

            P90's, very cool.

              Go Japanese Jackson

Same as my NASL 160, but with a stopbar/TOM, and no binding. Basically it's an SLS (thinner mahogany body with flamed maple top), neckthrough, model-exclusive inlays. Toss someone a few bucks to add binding to the neck and head....

Current price is about $350 or thererabouts. Shipping to America would probably run $120 or so, and these are equal to the 1990 Pro models in quality.

Most used Studio Customs range between 900(buy-it-now steals)-1200(amazing tops or rare colors). As of about 2003 "victory" inlays seem to be stock, older ones have crowns.

Non-Custom Hamer Studios can go for much less money...I was set on one before I played the PRS that I am saving for now. These guitars are in a league of their own.

Hey Pete I meant the Hamer...I should've phrased that better. The PRS I want is nothing special other than the fact that it suits me perfectly. But not everyone is me. Hamers are really great guitars though, and I still want one someday...it's just that I can't afford to have both right now, so I had to make the choice.
