Steinberger Spirit guitars?

Hey I just got 1 of these off EvilBay I've always wanted a steinbergere since I played my old guitar players steinberger strat. Anybody here own one Or played one before what are your thoughts. This one has a Maple neck & a Maple Flame top to it in trans blue. H/S/H with the S-Trem.

A friend of mine - who plays in my wife's country band - plays one of these. He says it's a lot of bang for the buck, although he replaced the pickups with some Bill Lawrence's.

I've played it a couple of times, and it's not bad at all.

I dont know much about the imports, but i own a US Newburgh, and it is a great guitar. Almost plays itself.

Tha trans amber ones look nice. I don't think I could get used to the feel of not having a headstock though.

Hey mike thanks I already got the EMGs for these 2 guitars, For the deal I got them for on EBay I didn't want to pass them up I had played 1 before & it felt very good in my hands so I went for both of them. Basically I had a G.A.S. attack.

I got 2 flame top spirits for just under 500.00 1 in trans Blue & the other a Trans amber, with gig bags for both. Both are like brand new also so far I haven't been able to find anything short of a little dust on them. & some EMG selects [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

The Trem is much like the one my friend has on his USA steinberger, The S-Trem works great. I haven't had any problems stating in tune at all.
I have some pics from the auctions if someone can host them for me.

I also don't have a problem (Staying) in tune as well as (Stating) in tune.

Well I got my EMGs into these 2 steinberger spirits finally. In 1 I put an 81/sa/81
& the other I tried the 85/sa/81. I haven't decided wich 1 really I like better yet but for right now both are keeping me really busy with practice I can't seem to put thes 2 down. [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
