Anyone have pictures or know where I can find some info on this model? Did a general search with Yahoo but didn't find much of anything. All I know is it has 27 frets.

Re: Hamer Jeff Watson model
Jeff did have his own model, but I can't remember exactly what it was offhand. I believe someone on the Hamer board had one custom ordered not too long ago. Maybe go there and ask. www.hamerfanclub.comI feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Re: Hamer Jeff Watson model
I found a picture of one on the Hamer forum. As well, I've been emailing one of the guys at Hamer's custom shop. Unfortunately, he didn't have a lot of info. But he did say he could try to send me some pictures as he gets some. I thought that was damn cool. Anyway, the Jeff Watson model is the second from the left.

Re: Hamer Jeff Watson model
The guy that got that new Watson is known as Mobster on the Hamer Fan Club board, He runs his own board also. You can probably get the info you need directly from him. His board is:

Re: Hamer Jeff Watson model
The Watson model is one of the holy-grails of the Hamer collector. There are very few of the originals. The Virtuoso(36 fretter), the Firebird, and the Watson are all very rare Hamer guitars. It is sad that Hamer turned their back on their shredder past...some of the stuff they produced in the 80s and early 90s is cool as hell. I know Mobster wanted a Watson for some time, and Hamer just wasn't interested in building one. Remember, that Hamer USA is a *very* small company. That new Watson was made almost entirely by hand. Hamer only uses the CNC machines to rough cut the bodies. Damn near everything else is done by hand. Here are the stats on the Watson...I am pretty sure they are correct.
Mahogany Body
Arched Maple Top
Set Maple Neck with sculpted heel..it looks and plays like a neck through.
25.5 Scale
Ebony Board
27 frets
Schaller Fine tuning tailpiece or Floyd
I am not sure if Hamer will make any more of these..but if they do...break out your wallet...Mobster told me what he paid, and it wasn't cheap. Worth every penny, IMHO...but expensive nonetheless.

Re: Hamer Jeff Watson model
I think I might have found my "Grail." I want one of those. Of course it would be completely impractical because of my short, stubby fingers. But, like I give a fuck. Who's got one and how much do I have to spend?
