Anything between some time on the 7th and when the new board was up didn't get moved.

Great post, Tim. Sound like you guys had a fine trip. Very interesting with the differences in tone. Man, you almost made me want an LP again.

I really miss my Custom Lite. It was burgandy mist with gold hardware. I bought it in 87 and had to sell it to feed the kids. An old teacher of mine had one of the gold top reissues from 75? or 77? He wouldnt ever put it down. As soon as I get my next promotion at the beginning of the year I'm going shopping. Of course, I have been kinda eyeballing the PC1 also, LOL.

I just recently had a gibson gas attack as well, i ended up buying a 2004 standard gecko green, i got it used but in new condition for 1500 total. This guitar just sings and I love everything about it. Gibson has come a long way in the last 10 years on bringing there quality back up, even on the none custom shop models. I also own a historic 57 black beauty reissue that i love as well.

Re: Les Paul GAS attack

So I was telling my wife that I was thinking of selling my Black Beauty 3-pickup LP Custom to help fund the purchase of this:
http://www.guitarsale.com/frontend/P...?ProductID=419

So she says "you should keep your custom, just go buy that other Les Paul". My wife rocks

We're going to be driving back to the east coast for our move back to North Carolina so we may need to make a pitstop at Music Machine.
