I had an i2 (the imported Les Paul style). Loved it. Quality was fabulous, and the finish was amazing. Hard to believe they're import guitars. The only reason I don't have it today is becasue I traded it for a PRS.
IMO, I'd buy one of those before I ever bought an epiphone or the like.
i had crankdaddy's i2 and i really liked it.
top notch materials, great workmanship...
it's way better than any import.
i really like the jack position on the guitar and the coil splitter is awesome.
i have an i8.13p, and it's all i use right now. i've had it for about 8 months. it's a $1200 import, but worth every penny. mine has the piezo bridge (sounds better than my ovation), and the 13 pin RMC Roland compatible stuff. i play new-age fusion now, and this guitar gives me everything: acoustic tones, easy access to my synth sounds (with better tracking than the ugly roland pickup), and my electric guitar tones. it's also very comfortable and extremely easy to play. it even came stock with Duncans and Sperzel tuners!! the brian moore is really built well, and the "flame top" looks really nice also. get one, you will be pleased...i'm going to get the les paul looking one next!!
GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

How thick is the top? Is it a maple cap or a veneer?

Yah, that's the one I'm looking at. Thanks for the
[ahem] feedback...
the top is a veneer. the guitar you're loking at, the i21, has not received good reviews according to my local brian moore dealer. he won't order them for his stock anymore, he said he got too many complaints/returns on them. apparently they are made in China instead of Korea like the i2. he said the workmanship is inferior, and the stock parts are cheesy. move up to the i2, the one crankdaddy was talking about, i played one today...it was fantastic (just like the one i already have) it's a little more, but it has the upgraded components (duncans, sperzels), and according to my dealer, never comes back or gets complained about.
and i gave you a review of MY brian moore because you asked for opinions on other brian moore guitars also.

i sold the i2 to a fellow forum member.
