I used to have one of these Eagles and they play and sound fantastic.
I didn't dig the shape since I play mostly Dinky/Strat shape but was a great sounding/playing guitar.

thanks guys i will post a report when it gets here, hopefully tomorrow. wonder what EMGs sound like in an maple guitar. i havent had a guitar with emgs in probably 10 years.
