  • ESP M-1 Custom

Just snagged this...I had a bolt-on ESP in the 80's, but I've never even played one of the neck-thru's. What should I expect? It sure looks nice. Is $500.00 the going rate?ESP

I'm not sure of the going rate, but I'm sure $500 would be below that. Not sure by how much. Nice score!

DUDE you suck...really nice guitars. quality guitars, most esps from that era are really killer guitars. just not when they get into the $800 range.

Any idea when it dates from? What about the 001 serial #? Info on these is far from abundant...

            Re: ESP M-1 Custom

M-1 custom came out around mid 80's.
I have seen some sold for $400-600.
If it has rare features such as Reverse headstock, Maple top body, grahics it will bring for more but I have never seen one more than 1K.
            Usually $500-600.
            IMO

That's a ESP floyd type trem.
It's a great trem. Base is thick and gives better tone.
                  IMO.

Nice score! I picked up an identical one a few months ago for the same price. Mine is electric blue. Very much like a soloist. The trem is most excellent, the fretboard is faster than most, and the tone is great. Mine is a one hum and the pup is a Schaller EMG type.
