Dimarzio in a Tele

Looking to take Atomic Humbucker II out of my new American Tele neck (Don't like!) thinking of replacing it with Seymour Duncan, but the thought of putting in a DiMarzio came to mind. Any suggestions? Atomic Humbucker II too muddy even after adjustment. I'm sure the Dimarzio would kill the Tele sound, but I still have the single coil at the bridge.
