Thanks for the insight Steve. My Dimarzio hardtail came as a blank canvas, never had the first piece of hardware installed. It was a NOS I found on the net. It has strings through the body. I tried several different brass bridges, but they were all too wide so I settled on the Gotoh. But now with the M/M I feel I don't have to settle anymore. I looks so good!

What I was talking about - does yours have a second set of holes through the rear of the base, right below the set screw holes? like this:



Notice here that because of the setup - the rear screw sets high in the saddle - and the actual slot is about half way down:



Either way you look at it the M/M Hardtail Bridge is considerably lower profile...

Hope this helps in the comparison. It also shows side by side how Kevins are every bit as nice as the Dimarzio - in fact, if you didn't know you would think they came from the same place.
