Since you were going custom, you should have spent a little more money and put a bridge pickup in - I bet they would have done it for you.

I meant NECK pickup. Awwww, crap, this just turned into one of those not-so-funny jokes that you end up repeating multiple times, which just sucks ANY possible humor right out of it.
In other words...
Nevermind.

I think 1hum for this graphic looks killer.
Or maybe 1 single coil pickup in the neck position would be cool too.
You can always add pickups later.
In my opinion, this kind of graphic always looks cooler with less pickups.
For Example,Brett's BGF Shannon with 1hum looks so much killer than SSH configured Shannons and there are already too many production models with SSH or HH configurations.
1hum guitar with 24frets looks so much fresh.
I think the neck was a huge part of wait time.
Black bindings should be the extra work that Lee would take time to get the neck ready to build the guitar.

It looks a lot like this here...actually, it's quite hard to get a good photo. This is what I've come up with so far.
The specs are: Alder Dinky/SD1 body, Advanced Red Ghost Flames graphic, 24 fret birdseye maple neck with ebony sharkfin inlays, reverse Jackson style headstock, black neck and headstock binding, gold Floyd and hardware, Seymour Duncan Custom 5 pickup.

Mannnnnnnnnn, I need a bucket for all the drool Vic! I had to bring the pics to the next page because it is so breathtaking. That thing is spectacular! That has to be one of the best looking guitars I've ever seen. Excellent choices my friend!

I assume the 2 year wait was in part you making you mind up, not totally with Lee?

I talked to Lee about a similar neck and he told me 12 months minimum for custom inlays and then they would start the guitar when the neck was finished.
im kind of out of the loop so i have a stupid question.
like someone said, it looks very jackson. I'm wondering how did you choose gmw to do this? are they cheaper, better quality, more flexible etc. ? ****
It is kinda all 3. I had heard so much good stuff about Lee and his work I figured I'd take my business there with this guitar, but I wanted something different to my other guitars. I had to get that graphic cause I love it and when you go to GMW, you have Dan at your disposal, I wanted to get a cool graphic from Dan.
