Re: How do the import BC Riches rank?

Thanks, guys. I think I'm over my guitar GAS at the moment and have some new toys coming in (amp head and cabinet). I think I'll just be happy with the guitars I have now and search out a BC Rich sometime further in the future.

My friend brought over a korean made neck-thru-body nj Mockingbird and it absolutely killed It was completely stock--all it had was a pro set up done. He prefers it over his Brian Moore and his Gibby and I concur--it must have been one of those pick of the litter guitars...

everything in their import line is a waste of time IMO, after owning a platinum warlock for a while there, i discovered just how bad their overall construction is (and a friend of mine had a bronze mockingbird and it was no better, and another friend with the kerry king v, same thing)

i have no faith in that evil company unless you show me a product from the 80's.

the n.j. series is pretty respectable for mid priced imports esp the older ones.can be found cheap on e-bay.picked up a mid 80's usa warlock on e-bay a few months back very nice if you can find one.

I would stay away from the Bronze series guitars unless you want a $150 beginner guitar. Pre 2003 Platinum's had Vintage trems on them that stayed in tune about as well as a clothesline strung across a couple trees. I personally would get a Platinum Pro or an older NJ.
