Yabba: what is the black 7 string with the sweet inlays? I need one.

          that's a schecter sunset-7 (I got it from StuTDavis, RIP )

it's a great guitar, my first 7-string; it plays like butter and sounds huge (I realllly like the EMG 707s, I think they're my favorite EMG pickup tonewise (sorta inbetween the 81 and 85))

          better shot of inlays:

Here's an old pic of some of mine. I no longer have the Warrior or the dark red string-thru Dinky HX, and I also have a Les Paul Studio now. I gotta get an updated pic (and also work on my photo-taking skills ). Maybe tomorrow I'll set them up for an orgie pic.

yep, USA custom shop schecters seem to be great bang-for-the-buck guitars if you can find them used. I guess they just don't have the same name recognition as say a gibson (or jackson, for that matter), so the resale isn't great which makes them excellent build quality for very reasonable prices, used.

[edit: what's the orange burst-y looking one hiding behind the guild in your pic, Robotechnology? ]

yabba: That guitar my friend is a Heartfield Elan III. Fender owned and designed but, made by Fujigen Gakki (custom builder and also builder of late 80's & early 90's higher end Ibanez guitars). 25.1" scale length with ebony fingerboard, Floyd Rose Pro bridge, etc. STELLAR guitar!

LOL Sorry, it's not a very good pic, though. And I put it on the far end so you couldn't see it very well!

Hey, Toe, what are the specs on your Carvin (woods, pickups, etc.)?

                                Sorry to hijack the thread.
