Honestly, I don't know whether he has or hasn't. I do believe that he would have told me if he had. He is always having pickup representatives "drop by" promoting their stuff and that's how I got turned onto Rio Grande pickups. I'll ask him this weekend. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
Update: Just got off the phone with my tech and he hasn't tried the new Dirty Fingers. However, this topic had come up before, so he did some research on the new model and he's yet to find any negative comments.

I always thought the RD Artist was really cool--but then I remember the new ones hanging on the wall at the local guitar store. And whenever a used one popped up, thought they played really nice. I haven't seen one locally in a long time, however. Back then, at least Gibson was trying to be innovative, even if they weren't entirely successful at it. Nowadays, they spend all their time figuring out ways to get you to pay $4000 for your dad's Les Paul...
