I just purchased this '93 Classic Gold Top, check it out! The pickups were upgraded to '57 Classics, too!

Dinkyjacksonman, The Gibson w/floyd is a Les Paul Custom Lite with the "this model also available with double locking tremelo" from the late 80's. Since its part of the Custom Lite family, it has the thinner/lighter body and simplified controls. The floyd is a Schaller unit with "Gibson" logo in the casting. Neck shape is the usual LP contour. Plays great, sounds great, and how many people can say they have one of these!

The ESP is a custom shop, with the EC body and a bolt-on neck with maple fingerboard, Gibson scale length. The combo of LP body shape and maple fingerboard is not seen very often. Neck shape is a little wider than a Paul, but is a little thinner. Very comfortable, plays great.

The nice things about these is they have the nice slinky feel of the short scale, with the added 'slinkyness' of the floyd rose.

I have seen these ESP models in the catalog of ESP from Japan.
I think these are signature models of Japanese guitarist.
Not sure who...

These are nice.
I love the burst one.I like the Black bindings on the neck and Abalone inlays.
He has double cutaway model versions of it I just saw on LP forum.

Hey Fong, that was long time ago.
About Tak,I never like Tak's tone.
Probably the EQs he set on his amp has to do with it.
His playing is cool though.

Tak's tone ain't my cup of tea either, IMO, it's too compressed. I've always being looking for a Gibson LP but the only ones i like are the customs; which are too overpriced...I won't mind paying for a LP custom that are priced in that region if she looks like this.

This is actually my first Gibson product ever. I've only ever bought Charvels, Jacksons, Fenders and Ibanez before. I'm kicking myself for not playing a Les Paul earlier in life. If you don't have one you must buy one... now!
