Graphics? Who?

I love Dan Lawerence's work. He is the standard by which all other guitar painters are judged as far as I'm concerned.
However, I know he's REALLY in demand and as such, REALLY backed up.

So.

Who else is there? Someone who has good samples online so I can get a feel for their work? Any personal recommendations?

Charvel750 has his artwork done by someone awesome. I think the name is Daneen. He claims that Daneen rivals Dan Lawrence.

Chuck, there's a guy who does a lot of work for ESP, Fender and Jackson...I was referred to him before ultimately getting my guitar done by Dan.

Can't think of the guy's name right now, but I'll forward it to you ASAP. Have you ever seen the Planet of the Apes and/or the Rat Pack graphics from ESP? He's that guy.

I have one done by Bryan Woo. He rarely does guitars, but he does do them. I was amazed at the paint job he did. Its way better than anything I've seen on a guitar in terms of quality and originality. I've had one done by a local yocal but it wasnt all that imaginative......

Im not sure if he did the finish over, or someone else did, but the clear coat spray over was really well done too.....

John Dismukes painted the original Lynch Skulls and Snakes ESP. I think he has moved into graphic design. But still dabbles in album art work and maybe a few guitars.

I'm just in the scheming stages right now. The information I find on graphic artists will dictate wether I make a purchase or not.

This is it. Its a crappy picture, and Im gonna try to redo my webpage one day with good pix. It only shows the face. He also painted the back, and up the neck and the headstock using alot of unusual designs. I like it because its not the same old mural that other people do, its actually original..........

And this is the same old, same old, that the local yokels did. Its cool, but its the same as what everyoneelse has done a million times before. You can also see the crappy quality of the jobs yocals do. The Bryan one is absolutlely perfect, while the yokels screw up in places. Thats kind of why its important not to hire just anybody when doing the paint job............
