Well, I finished wiring her up. I potted all the pickups and I wired her to the exact specs of the Ace Freheley Les Paul Custom. I decided to use the .022 yellow Cornell Dublier caps for the tone pots which I believe are correct. Gibson used Cornell and Sprague caps. I took a pic of the control cavity. It is extremely neat and looks exactly like what a 1971 should look like. She plays like a dream, sounds like a monster and is as quiet as a mouse. Actually this guitar is so quiet you would think it has EMG's in it. Potting pickups is a friggin miracle!!

The middle position sounds very similar to the clean tone in the beginning of Black Diamond by Kiss.
