I dont have one. But looking at the specs the guitar should cost around 400 euros but its 1200 euros. Off course its made in Japan and its a LIMITED edition so that i guess is worth the extra money. Also you dont even get a case but that doesnt really say anything these days when 4000-5000$ Suhrs dont even come with a case.
pictures look pretty cool. but I always thought the appeal of the '80s/'90s HM strats was that they were cheaper than the comparable charvels? so not sure why I would buy one of these vs. a pro-mod, other than to feel nostalgic. and we all know nostalgia is bullshit!
That is pretty close to the Bullseye In My Mind.

Since after I got my Ibanez X in the 80s, I have as always wanted a Jackson Reverse.
It was some time later I had seen an Eerie Dess.
Then, my head was filled with desire for either one.
So, hearing Jackson was owned by Fender, and Fender had announced Reissue Strat HM, I ordered the white one. Why not, right?
Beautifully put together, and does sound pretty darn good through my Mustang LT25.
I am having a bit of Buyer's Ass Bite now.
For what I invested in the Strat, I could have gotten
both the Eerie Dess I had seen in Reverb awhile back.
Or, I could have gotten an Excellent Reverse.
Or, as my bride says, saved a couple $ from my OT, and shopped for exactly what I wanted.
I guess the cost, the entry level Floyd, and Gig Bag instead of Case kinda sux.
The Up Side is, IF Fender Honestly only made 300 of each, maybe one of our GrandKids would keep it and play it, as the slight possibility of a little Value Increase and not really a kick in the taint for paying so much for an actual $700 - 800 guitar.
I am saving change from OT paychecks so I can get what I desire, and not just " settle " for something.
I appreciate your reply! Thank You!!

I had not seen that before.
I had seen the Guitar Max review and that review made me feel more assured of my purchase.
I placed my order the day after the announcement of the Reissue Pre Order.
Best friend bought one new back in the day and he still has it. Killer guitar for the money. You don't come across them as often as you used to. Same thing with the Model series Charvels. The reasonably priced one's get snatched up pretty quick.
Yes. That was an unfortunate oversight on my part.
And it doesn't come with a case.
If I keep mine, I will do a swap.
I bought into the Hype too eagerly.
It is my 1st HSS and I jumped at the
Limited Edition ad.
This was also my intro into there being different
FRTs. I thought " Special " also meant Limited Edition.
Now I know there are separate Editions with varying levels of quality.
I'm glad you like it! I've been GASing over the blue one since they were announced, even more since I just realized I've got a few OFRs laying around and a strat case with no strat
I still don't know if I can justify it without the TBX pots though
