yeah they do. they don't do it for the fans, they do it for the fan's deep pockets. and those guitars look and sound like they suck. or, so i hear. "i don't wanna be tainting my fine ass hands with crap like that!" lol, j/k.

SIlvertone used to be the name brand of guitars sold by a major department store way back in the day (SEARS I believe). I believe it is currently owned or distributed by SAMICK these days. I went to see Kiss last year, and Paul was playing mostly his older Washburns, but took the time to smash one of those SIlvertones into a bajillion pieces.

Dare I say I actually bought one of these a while ago. It came damaged and was such a piece of junk I sent it back. Very, very poor quality and I even bought the better one of the two they offer!! I better stick to Jackons

I played one of those. It was terrible! Played about as bad as it looks. At least it's consistant. lol
