Floyd Rose Speedloader Guitars - Where Were They made?

I am seeing a lot of these appearing for sale, and was wondering where they were made. Sellers seem to think they were made in the USA but the guitars have no "made in USA" markings on them.
Have emailed Floyd Rose, but got no response, did they REALLY buy equipment, premises and hire the staff to build guitars? After all Mr Rose is a machinist by trade not a luthier...

Did they take such a big risk making them themselves or did they outsource the manufacture to say Cort in Korea (as they were at the time)?

Like the Discovery Series? There’s no way. One review on an old Musician's Friend page said made in China, but I don’t know that for sure.

They were made in China... it's clearly stated on the back of the headstock.

The series 1-4 are not, the quality of the wood is akin to Fender Deluxe guitars of the time, mine has a Birdseye maple neck and swamp ash body with a trans red finish. The Cheap Floyd Rose guitars made in China/Korea etc are clearly labelled "international" and the wood quality is a lot lower. These were definitely made in the USA, but which company made them? My thoughts have drifted slightly to perhaps Godin, or some other smaller than Fender USA manufacturer.. Still no response from Floyd Rose!

I thought they were all MIC too. I thought the strings for them were discontinued too. I vaguely remember them not catching on and dying off pretty fast too.
