50th Aniv Strat

Well just brought home my new 50th Aniv Deluxe Strat....OMG
this thing is unbelievable.Nice flat maple neck with rounded edges,S1 switching...absolutely flawless,one of the nicest Strats I have ever laid my eyes on.I will snap some photos in the morning. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

I have the same guitar man! It **** rocks! I had always been underwhelmed by strats until I played this one on a whim at a shop a few weeks ago. It is sweet. The neck is so comfortable and easy to play. The S-1 switching is super cool and doubles the number of tones you normally get out of the strat and the pups even manage some good bite. I love man, congrats on getting yours man!

Nice axe. Love the contoured heel. I like the way Fender has incorporated non-obvious but significant changes that don't take anything away from the classic looks of this guitar, but add functionality, e.g., the S1 switching system, which doesn't change the looks of the original controls, and this contoured heel, which appears to constitute a slight change (just nipped the corner off the heel), but makes a big difference in upper fret access. The abalone dots are beautiful, too.

As far as I know this is the only finish avail in all 3 models.Deluxe,Standard,54 CS
