The neck is 1 5/8" at the nut, which is a little thin for me, and the neck overall has a sort of non-descript generic feel, but this guitar took a setup like nobody's business. A little neck shim action; a little Floyd tweakage, a cleanup; new strings. I think this is my best playing guitar right now. I'm amazed at how low the action is and what a great player this is!

It has a few rough spots: the pickup is mounted a little off-center. It's got its share of dings and scratches, but it's a sweet player. It's got 1 hum (not sure what it is) with a single Volume knob and a 3-way mini toggle: up=single coil; middle=off; down=humbucking.

Also, based on comparisons with the Chandler I recently got, I doubt this is a Chandler neck. Not sure what the body is either, but the guitar is also super light weight.

<font color="aqua">That looks great! As for the neck, by the looks of the truss rod adjustment route, it could be one of the Stewart Mcdonalds necks when they used to sell the Jackson style headstock necks. Why's the pickup ring mounted off center, is it the wrong ring for that body? </font>

It's not just the ring. Either the pickup or the Floyd (or both) are not centered. Everything works fine. The strings are nearly perfectly centered on the neck, and, though the pole piecses are not perfectly aligned with all the strings, everything sounds ok volume-wise accross all 6 strings. I was actually thinking of getting one of your pup rings for this guitar, because this ring is a very poor fit. There is a gap between the ring and the pup that you can see the finish through. Anyhow I'll pm you about the pup ring...

The neck is one-piece maple with maple board and there is no scarf joint.

I have not checked it with a digital or strobe tuner, but to the naked ear (mine anyway) it seems to be intonated just fine.
