Thought I'd start a new thread, since the old one is probably tapped out.

According to the Dean forum...from a post by Dean Z. himself...here's info on the MSV line:

We are proud to announce the official endorsement of Michael Schenker. Michael is a legend, one of the all time greats and 100% has a tone that he owns. A big part of the project was to capture the Schenker tone in the Michael Schenker Models. That is why all USA models and better imports will come with USA made custom wound pickups.

There will initially be 4 Michael Schenker models. The first to be introduced will be 100 limited edition ...USA Made ...all individually signed and numbered by Michael himself. If you are interested, I suggest contacting your favorite Dean USA dealer.

It was inevitable. It should be good publicity for him tho.
I believe there is a few Dean dealers on the Dean forum, but I have not been there in a while. Not sure if there are any here who carry them.

Dude that is so amazing! As I said in the other Schenker topic, I can't wait till Dean does the flamed up half and half version (cuz you know Dean's all about flames and quilts).

I'm glad to hear they are going to be doing a couple based on it because on my current budget I would have to go for an import.

Dave is a good guy and is taking orders. They aren't cheap, but are fair priced for what they are.

Yea, I agree.
Only the problem for me would be I have never played a Dean.
If the neck would be like Gibson V, then no problem.
I need more details about the guitar such as wood materials,fret size,neck size and couple others before I decide to go or not to go with but I think I will order one.
Michael was the reason I started playing and this will be a great guitar to have.
