WOW!
I was out of town for 5days and just came back and see this!

That looks killer.
I am sure Gibson will ask $$$ for it..
Buy My BC Rich and reshape it like Les Paul and there you go.

I am giving serious thought to building a Les Paul out of Warmoth parts. The poor-man's Les Paul but still with high quality components. My brother has ordered all his bass guitar parts from Warmoth and it has influenced me.

Where did you go? Hope you enjoyed your trip.

I thought about maybe ordering a Warmoth Les Paul, too!

How was the wedding, Toru? Still interested in the Line 6 pedal?

Re: I hate you, dinkyjacksonman.

I went to a wedding party in another city(Monterrey)close to Texas and couldn't come back until today.
The airplane had problem with brake and I stayed at Best Western last night which the airline company provided me
Had Internet access there but tooooo slow.
The wedding was great and got to see a trio playing spanish guitars for 3 fukking hours... made me want a Takamine Classical guitar

About Warmoth Les Paul, If you don't mind of bolt on, I think it is the best way to go.

Toe, Yea I will buy your Line6.
Just give me until tomorrow.

Supposedly the bolt-on Warmoth Les Paul designs give better upper-fret access than the real set-neck Les Pauls. And it's a contoured heel on the Warmoth Les Pauls too. Sounds interesting.

Sounds like you had a great time... trio of guitarists would have been awesome to see.

They were great but 3hours... too long.
Only Romantic music and some fast Gypsy kings..
It didn't even make me to drink!
I expected them to play only 1 hour and then play some dance music so I can dance like hell like I always do but when the band stopped playing, the party ended.. sucks big time.

What's strange about it, though, is that their LP models come with 25.5" scales. You may be able to get it with 24 frets, though. I asked one time about a Flying V with 24 frets, and they said they do offer 24.75" scale replacement necks that are 24 frets with a tiny bit of overhang just like their regular 21 and 22 fret necks (not the regular 24-fret replacement necks with the longer overhang). The only thing is you have to pay like an extra $50 or something to get the bridge moved a tiny bit. I assume they'd do it for the LP style, also.

Re: I hate you, dinkyjacksonman.

Some of the Showcase bodies/necks are LP scale. Look under Showcase, then look under Guitar Necks, then LP. There are both Strat-scale and LP-scale Les Paul necks, and the LP-scale ones have body recommendations so that you get the body with the correct neck pocket and such. There's a beautiful goldtop body that goes with one of the Finished LP short scale necks. I'd definitely be getting a short-scale Les Paul but they're not too common in the Showcase. They should really state flat-out which LP bodies and which LP necks are short and long scale so that you can match them easily without having to bother them with e-mails.

Ah, I didn't know that. I just remember looking quick at an LP body on their site the other day and noticing it said Strat scale. I'd definitely want a short scale, and with 24 frets it would be even cooler!

I guess you won't have to go with the custom shop Hamer Monaco route if you can get your 24-fret Les Paul from Warmoth.

Guess not. Except it'll just have a bolt-on neck instead of a set neck is all. Not that big of a deal to me. I just seem to have a fetish for single-cutaway guitars lately.

I think one of Godin with Fishman bridge are nice.
