i also have a pair schecters, a devil tribal and a s-1 elite, as has been mentioned numerous times, they are great guitars. i would go for one of the high end models, as was mentioned earlier, to save yourself the trouble of purchasing and installing new pickups in it.

I'm not real picky about tone, but I think the Duncan Design pups are actually pretty good sounding. Much better than the stock pups you will find in most guitars. ALso forgot to mention the Schecters have Grover tuners and tone pros bridges on most of them. If you ad up the price of real Duncan pickups and good quality hardware, the prices on the Schecters are a STEAL.

I have a c-1 blackjack, for the price best guitar I've played. What else can you buy for $550.00 with real duncans, grovers, neck through, string through, tone pros, and whatever else. I call it the real man's les paul (that is what I was looking for when I bought it but GC's all played like ****) maybe I got lucky, but check them out.

I've got one of the MIK Tele/Esquires. Mine is the blue one with the racing stripe down the middle. It's very cool - I currently have it setup with 12's or 13's and tuned down to B as an alternative to having a 7-string. I just don't play it much though. I listed it in the classifieds a while back. If it doesn't end up selling I'll probably toss a Gibson Tony Iommi pickup in it that I have - it has a Duncan Invader in it stock.
