and his silhouette on the back near the pentagram looks pretty weird. looks like another smudge.

oh yeah, when did they become Satanic? when rob caggiano was in an ESP interview and threw in a couple of "Hail Satan"'s.

Re: Scott Ian\'s new Washburn

I'm a little bummed Scott went to Washburn- I don't know the whole story with that. But I think his new guitars are killer anyway.

The Pentathrax from what I hear was an idea that a buddy of theirs suggested. Maybe I can find where I read that- it was at the Anthrax website. The suggestion was that it would be killer to use because they could bring out the "A" for Anthrax in the symbol. It wasn't meant to be satanic.
But what do I know.

Ciao,

well if you flip the pentagram over, you'll see the A, but that doesn;t explain caggiano's weird Satan phrases.

I think the Matrix one is Jackson.
Boogie Street, I bet they would sell these at very high price..

Here- you can see the raised "A" in the Pentathrax symbol better.

Caggiano... what a trip he is.

Yeah, I'm well aware of the doublecut LP. I was referring to the overall constuction, layout and configuration on the Washburn being very Jacksonesqe, but that's expected considering it was made for Scott. If he liked it on a Jackson, I'm sure he likes it on a Washburn too. The Washburn is a cool guitar though, no doubt about it. I don't know exactly when Scott switched to Washburn. The first I heard of it was a couple of months ago from a post in the Efraid section. Did the decision of no longer making any bodystyles associated with Gibson possibly result in Scott leaving Jackson? Or is the demise of the JJ2 the result of Scott leaving and poor sales?

Re: Scott Ian\'s new Washburn

Washburn did the same thing with Dime's signature models.
They look identical to his Dean guitars including the deatstock and body shape too.

Re: Scott Ian\'s new Washburn

i think scott's leaving has to do with the overall endorsement deal. After all, he's a diehard Randall Warhead guy, and Randall is owned by the same company that owns Washburn. so the two go hand in hand.

^Much like Diamond Darrell.

What about Nuno?
He was a big Washburn Endorser or is he still?

I think Nuno is still an endorser. Last photos I saw of him, he was playing his sig model. I love the neck joint on the NX6/N4. That's the most original bolt-on design I've seen so far. Great guitar too.

I saw Nuno playing Washburn(his N4) 1-2years ago but the headstock was blank and no logo.
