ESP Kamikaze

Hi guys,

Question for the ESP guys out there.

I just bought a 90's ESP Kamikaze with a Maple fret board.

My question is, have these ever come with a Maple board or have they always been ebony?

Any help would be appreciated.

Green one comes with Maple board but trhe rest should be with with Ebony.
Maybe yours is a special order one?

What color is it?

What the headstocks on those, I've snapped 2 over the years, same spot.

I've seen some 24 Fret 1 offs,

It is the Kamikaze I
It's the brown, red, yellow one.
Reverse banana headstock.

How did you snap the headstock?

Ususally ebony. I have had mine for 11yrs now. Very cool guitar.

So you grabbed the ebay one? I was looking at that one, if only he would've taken paypal! It looks legit and definitely a special order...1st one I've seen with the black/tan camo and maple board..
By the way, it has the early '90's special ESP trem (which works well), but make sure he doesn't forget to give you the trem bar! they are special and hard to find.

Budman can make you as bar to fit it if the bar does not come with the guitar.

Yeah, I grabbed the one on ebay. (That guy has tons of killer guitars!)

Anyway, I was concerned about the bridge not being a Floyd.
So, this one is normal/legit?

What about the pick-ups? Any idea about those?

Yes. As far as I know, the Kamikaze 4 was the only one with a maple board.

The guitar you have has older trem of ESP.
That must be from late 80's.
